Ultraviolet light (UV) is electromagnetic radiation in a wave length range that is invisible to the eye.
Airborne viruses move with the convection flow of air. The UV-C light is germicidal; it deactivates the DNA of bacteria by destroying their abality to reproduce. The airborne virus is killed instantly when coming in to contact within the radius of the UV-C irradiance kill area.HEPA FILTERS - are effective for dust, pollen and tobacco, but only 50% of molds are ineffective for bacteria and viruses.
