UV Print Curing Products
UV curing is often used in the printing industry as high-intensity ultraviolet light is used to cure inks. This process uses a photochemical reaction, that uses light instead of heat to dry inks. Photoinitiators are mixed with liquid monomers and then exposed to UV energy.
UV printer inks were created as an alternative to solvent-based products. Conventional heat works by evaporating the solvents, which creates environmental pollutants and shrinks the initial application by more than 50 percent. With UV printer curing, there is no solvent to evaporate and no environmental pollutants are created.
