Description
Technilamp has a selection of UV tubes which range from 4w – 115w. We also have a selection of single-ended lamps, PL-L lamps and PL-S lamps:

| PL-L | 18w,36w and 55w |
| PL-S | 9w and 11w |
For effective control of algae it is recommended that a lamp is replaced every 9000 hours of use or once per annum. For optimum performance the UV lamp and quartz tube should be cleaned on a quartely basis. Technilamp can also supply you with replacement quartz tubes.
The system must only be switched on once inserted back into the chamber. The water that passes through the UV water unit does not have any effect on any of the plants in the pond and it is recommended that plants are added to help control algae growth.
